Latam FEM Lab 2025: Women in Art, Science and Technology
Mexico City · 26–29 November 2025
The international network FEMeeting: Women in Art, Science and Technology proudly
announces Latam FEM Lab 2025, taking place 26–29 November 2025 in Mexico City (CDMX).
This new initiative marks an important expansion of FEMeeting’s long-standing commitment
to connecting women working across art, science, technology, and hybrid practices
worldwide.
Organized by María Antonia González Valerio, Lena Ortega Atristain, and Minerva H. Trejo,
LatamFemLab 2025 is presented in collaboration with Arte+Ciencia (UNAM) and Bioscénica:
cuerpo digital y transdisciplina. Together, these partners bring forward a platform dedicated to
strengthening the presence, visibility, and collaborative agency of women across Latin
America working at transdisciplinary intersections.
A New Space for Transdisciplinary Exchange
LatamFemLab 2025 seeks to consolidate and expand a dynamic network of artists, scientists,
researchers, technologists, and thinkers committed to reimagining the relationships between
knowledge systems. The gathering encourages the exchange of research and creative
practices that respond to contemporary challenges with rigor, imagination, and critical depth.
The initiative promotes approaches that challenge traditional epistemologies while engaging
deeply with current social, political, technological, and cultural realities. LatamFemLab
envisions a collaborative ecosystem capable of generating new perspectives and
transformative methodologies across the region.
